Competition is limited to members only, except for the Cochin Golf Club Open and The Admiral's Cup (The Naval Golf Club is invited to compete for the Admiral's Cup).
The format of the competition may be changed by the competition committee to suite the present day. Notice of any such change is put up on the notice board at least one week before the competition.
All disputes and rules regarding competition, the competition committee’s decision shall be final.
Green fees, clubs-set hire charges, caddie fees, “water ball” charges, fore-caddy charges etc. will be as per the decision of the Management Committee. Members are allowed to bring guests at half charge (green fee) for a maximum of 2 times per month.
Application of Handicaps for Match play
Singles : ¾ th of the difference between the handicaps.
Foursome : 3/8 th of the difference between the handicaps.
Four-ball : players take ¾ th of their handicap, the lowest handicap goes to zero and the rest reduces the same number from their handicap. |
