Ladies,
Gentlemen and Institutions may be admitted to the membership save that
the committee will have the power to restrict the total number to
any one or more classes of memberships according to its discretion.

Ordinary Members
|
|
|
|
This
membership has an entrance fee of Rs.25,000/- and a monthly
subscription of Rs. 100/-. The entrance fee shall be paid along
with the application and the monthly subscription should be paid in
advance for the year. An ordinary member does not pay any green
fee, but has to pay the annual course maintenance fee of Rs. 500/-,
in advance, for the year. An ordinary member can convert his / her
membership to Life membership by paying the difference in the
entrance fee existing at the time of conversion.

Life Member
|
|
|
|
This
class of membership has an entrance fee of Rs. 60,000/- The
entrance fee shall be paid along with the application. A life
member does not pay any monthly subscription or green fee but
has to pay the annual course maintenance fee of Rs. 500/- in
advance, for the year.

|
Institutional Members
|
|
|
|
Institutional
Membership shall be conferred on eligible companies or firms on application
and approval by the committee and on payment of Rs.1,50,000/- lump
sum. The company will be entitled to nominate in writing any THREE
players at a time to use the club facilities. Institutional members
do not pay any monthly subscription or green fee, but has to pay
the annual course maintenance fee of Rs. 500/- for each nominated
member, in advance, for the year. An institutional member has only
one vote.

Outstation Members
|
|
|
|
In the event
of an ordinary member departing from Cochin, The member may choose
to become an outstation member on payment of one time lump sum of
Rs.250/- The member should make his/her intentions clear to the
Hon. Secretary in writing, and a conformation of this must be
obtained from the Hon. Secretary. Such a member should provide
his/her outstation address to the Hon. Secretary. An out station
member does not pay any monthly subscription, but has to pay the
annual course maintenance fee of Rs. 500/-, in advance, for the
year. On return to
Cochin
the member will automatically become an Ordinary member and shall
continue to pay the monthly subscription. It is the obligation of
the member to let the committee know of his/her return to
Cochin
. An
outstation member is liable to pay green fees and is not allowed
to contest the club election.

Honorary Members
|
|
|
|
Members
of the public who are invaluable to the club, may be proposed to be
Honorary Members of the club. The proposal must be made by a member
and supported by four other members. The proposal must be made in
writing, addressed to the management committee, whose majority
decision will be final. The management committee at its own
discretion can award Honorary Membership to members of the public
whom they deem to be fit for this class of Membership. The Honorary
Membership can be temporary or for life according to the discretion
of the committee.

All
applications for membership (other than Honorary Memberships) must
be made on the prescribed form, proposed by a member and seconded
by two other members of the club.
|
|
|
|
Application
for membership will be screened by the management committee, whose
majority decision will be final.
|
|
|
|
The
monthly subscription and green fees will be as decided by the club
management committee from time to time. There is no monthly
subscription for Life Members, Institutional Members, Outstation
Members and Honorary Members.
|
|
|
|
The Membership shall be terminated by:
|
|
|
|
|
Resignation after setting all
the dues.
|
|
By death
|
|
Expulsion for non-payment of
dues.
|
|
Expulsion on disciplinary
grounds.
|
|
|
|
|
Wife
and children under the age of 18 years of all members may use the club
facilities without additional subscription.
|
|
|
|
There is a
monthly subscription fee of Rs 100/- (payable annually in
advance) and an annual course maintenance fee of Rs 500/-, also
payable in advance.
Play is restricted to mornings on all days, except on
Mondays. However the number of players who play on week
days is very low and most players play on the week end mornings.
